Took a trip to McNally Jackson, a fantastic independent bookstore in SoHo, with Lety between work and class today. Decided to treat myself by purchasing a couple of fantastic novels.
The Braindead Megaphone: Essays by George Saunders and White Noise by Don DeLillo. Saunders comes highly recommended, especially by Lety whose taste in books I trust completely. I’ve gotten roughly 20 pages in and I’m already in love with it. White Noise has been on my to-read list for a while now and I’m excited to finally cross it off. And just look at that cover art! Simply beautiful!
